Learn Ninjutsu, "the Art of the Ninja," That Is No Longer Taught in Japan

Learn Ninpo Taijutsu as it was taught by Bujinkan Soke Hatsumi in the 1980s. Level by level, from beginner to Black Belt.

How not to get hit • Distancing the attack • Quick counters to any attack • Increasing your awareness • Conditioning your body • Personal power • Punching • Kicking • Exotic weapon training • Stealth • Postures • Grappling • Rolling • Meditation • Inner power • Sword • Shinobi Iri • Throws • Submission • Chokes • Spiritual refinement and much, much more!

There is great joy in helping others have a better life.

I never started out wanting to be a teacher. I did always think I would teach my children one day. Over time it just happened. Sharing these arts has been one of the biggest joys of my life.

We (myself and IBDA) are dedicated to helping you grow as a person, as a competent, well-rounded martial artist, and to become a certified teacher of what you love, in a way that supports your life.

It costs an average of $150 a month to attend a dojo, plus promotion fees, and that is not even the cost of training you as a teacher of the arts. $150 a month for 36 months is $5,400, plus about $1,000 in promotion fees. A lot.

We admit our training is different, perhaps cutting edge: you can slow-motion or replay the teacher at your fingertips, and go at your own pace. Your one-time investment here is far, far less. I hope that you join us.

Be a Part of the Legacy That Keeps the Bujinkan Ninjutsu Arts Alive

Most Ninjutsu / Budo Taijutsu students are looking for a solid home, where they are free to study what they want, when they want, with whomever they want, while having a standardized set of proven teachings to teach their students. A place where rank is equal to knowledge, where they can get proper certification for themselves and their students, have access to unlimited knowledge on the art, get dojo-building materials so they can earn a decent living sharing what they love (or at least pay for a training trip each year), get help with their questions, and attend an occasional seminar where they make lasting friendships. That is what we are all about.

Your Path: From Beginner to Master Teacher

Becoming a teacher of the "Warrior Ways of Enlightenment"

Like everyone else, you begin your training at 10th Kyu, learning the 9th Kyu material. It is wonderful if you can attend our dojo classes or train with a certified instructor. If not, our complete distance learning program can take you as far as you want to go.

While you train for your Black Belt, you also study how to teach the art. Most students start the Shidoshi training at 5th Kyu, about halfway to Shodan; some start right away. So when you earn your Shodan, you are already trained to open your own IBDA Ninjutsu dojo, and those who complete the course are granted Shidoshi-ho (a direct student under Doshi Van Donk), issued by the International Bujinkan Dojo Association.

Achievement Level 1: Shodan, 1st Degree Black Belt
Achievement Level 2: Shidoshi-ho, licensed junior teacher
Achievement Level 3: Advance through the 2nd to 5th Dan material to prepare for the 5th Dan test with Doshi
Achievement Level 4: Shidoshi, fully licensed teacher
Achievement Level 5: Shihan

The greatest level of all is what you feel inside: the changes you have made in your life, and how that has affected others because of your hard-earned efforts. These studies have proven to change lives.

Would you sell your Black Belt experience for $50,000?

We have asked many people who earned Black Belt with us: "Would you sell your Black Belt knowledge, the changes it has made in your life, the impact it has made on others and the friends you have made for $50,000?" NO WAY. In one class of 20 Black Belts, all said NO to $1,000,000. Now that says something!

You can be a Black Belt in techniques and a white belt at sharing it.

It is one thing to be able to do techniques, and another to share the teachings so others can understand and do them well. The Teachers Training Course teaches you to set up training, create schedules and themes, select material for your classes, instruct a class, handle dojo situations and interact with your students. And you can be a Black Belt in techniques and at sharing it, but a white belt at running a dojo, and your school will fail. That is why the IBDA "Dojo Wealth Building Course" will teach you, A to Z, how to run a profitable dojo, so you can get paid doing what you love.
